It was our original plan to borrow a mini bus to get people from the Stockport Area to Snowdon and to assist with running people to train stations ect. Unfortunetly we have been unable to get hold of the Poynton Rotary Club Mini bus.
We have a number of old people who can drive them on their licence. So can anyone help?

Jake?
Jake Bryan, where do we start? Jake, also known as Shady Jake, not because he hangs on street corners playing coins in Hazel Grove. It is more the fact that he wears his sunglasses or ‘shades’ all the time, even when it is dark!
Jake, full time boat driver, full time banging on about it, he has finally landed himself with a lovely lady and finally a career that hasn’t changed like the weather. This complete lad, has wanted to be a fast jet pilot, Paratrooper (nobody quite knows why), submariner, astronaut, gold miner, the man who invents names of new biscuits and for some strange reason a drag queen, but that last one might have been made up!
After going to Marple High School he went to Aquinas College and studied PE and some other things that aren’t much use to anyone. During his time with the ATC Jake was awarded best cadet and made it to the mighty rank of Corporal! As well as making his squadron and friends proud Jake was selected for the North Region Rugby Squad, Jake has been on many summer camps and has been to NATO Rhinedahlen, RAF Northolt and RAF Aldergrove in Northern Ireland.
Jake has been known exaggerate slightly, but this is the reason we love him so much, and that fact that when you poke him he squeals like a little girl.
Jake ‘Snake Hips’ Bryan is definitely the dancer of the group, followed very closely by Jamie Kenyon, when put together with half a crate of intoxicating beverage Jake has been known to Night Fever the dance floor into complete silence and with a little bit of encouragement from certain individuals will also get naked, he has definitely got a lot braver since moving to the home of economic depression which is Fleetwood.

Mike?
“Who is Mike?” This is just the first of a long list of
questions that intelligence agencies from all over the world are asking.
Mike Geldard / El Geldardo / The Brick / Gelly... these are just
some of his many alter-egos.
Mike is rumoured to have been born on the 1st September
1989. He attended Bramhall High School, which is where he met Charlie Egan.
Mike joined the ATC when he was 13 years old where he first
met Stuart. It was while as a member of the Air Cadets Mike gained the first,
of what was to soon become many aliases. After school Mike attended Aquinas College
(can anyone spot two common themes here?). It was at this point Mike was
approached by military intelligence.
Mikes interests involve skiing, hiking and playing the strong silent type to attract women.
To this day, Mike remains adament that he still works at Go
Outdoors, but this is just a cover story. Mike still frequently goes away on ‘skiing’
holidays, all that can be said about these trips is that he makes fictional characters
like James Bond look like amateurs.
Who is going to scale the Mountain?

Who is Rick?
So who is Rick?
Rick was born on 2nd August 1991. None of us new him until he went to Hazel Grove High School which is where he met Jamie Kenyon.
Ricks interests include drinking, riding his bike and well that’s
where it err... sort of stops. Rick is, at best, mildly skilled on his bike and
it is not this that makes him appear to be good but his severe disregard for
his own life. I personally have seen him accelerate towards a particularly
large jump land fall off and get stuck in a tree, in fact I have a video of it,
it is more the fact that after I had picked him out of the tree and put him
back on his feet he immediately went back and did the jump again needless to
say he fell off again missing the very same tree by inches. Upon getting back
up he decided that the landing ground wasn't particularly good so what was most
definitely needed was to move on to a much bigger and scarier looking jump.
Rick was born on 2nd August 1991. None of us new him until he went to Hazel Grove High School which is where he met Jamie Kenyon.
Rick was the last one of us all to join the Air Training
Corps but loved it so much he stayed in all the way to Cadet Warrant Officer.
For those of you who do not have experience of the ATC the rank of CWO is the
highest that you can achieve as a cadet. It is a great honour to achieve this
rank and as soon as you do people start thinking you should have probably left
and found some friends.
After school Rick went to Aquinas College to study A levels
in subjects he can't quite remember.
Rick has completed his initial briefing and has the date for
his Army Main Board. He has aspirations of becoming a Logistics Officer. Unfortunately,
for everyone else, if Rick does pass and joins the Army then the Defence budget
will have to be considerably raised to account for the endless amount of things
that he will break and the expense of tailor making uniform to fit his massive
head. It is at this point I would like to explain that I do not mean massive
head in the metaphorical sense that Rick thinks he is amazing but in the literal
sense that if you do meet him his head is the size of a water melon. This
massive increase in the defence budget will surely plunge the country into
another recession.

So who are we?
There are five of Stuart's closest friends organising this walk and we thought that it would be nice if you got to know us.
Lets start with Charlie.
After his A levels he went to the University of Huddesfield where he managed to find some time, between the snowboarding, drinking and entertaining the constant stream of woman that seem to follow him everywhere for no reason that we can work out, to actually study drawing houses or as he calls it Architecture.
He is now a tea boy at an Architectural company where he works 50 hours a week in return for no remuneration but he is sometimes allowed to watch a man use a crayon if he has been a really good boy.
Charlie, being a massive girl, cannot leave the house unless he is wearing his best outfit and Stuart would frequently be heard calling him every name under the sun as we would wait for hours on end for Charlie to get ready for a night out.
Finally, now listen up if you are one of these girls that follows Charlie around, Charlie will never love a woman as much as he loves his hair. Some men love football, some golf and some even love there wife or girlfriend but for Charlie it’s the hair. Charlie has spent so much time brushing and styling his hair that he cannot explain the offside rule!!
Obviously we do all love Charlie and so did Stuart and any criticizing that goes on is only in good humor even if there is a lot of it! Charlie is on Facebook and if you add him he might accept you if a) he likes the look of you or b) if you are a girl.
Lets start with Charlie.
over his early life, as we didn't know him then, he went to Bramhall High School where he met Mike Geldard.
At age 13 Charlie joined the Air Training Corps at 55 (Woodford & Bramhall) sqn. Which is where he first met Stuart Tyrer and the rest of us.
Charlie left Bramhall High School in 2006 and went to do A levels at Aquinas College.
While completing his A levels in trivial subjects such as design (Charlie obviously thinks making a wine cabinet and a guitar constitutes an A level) he did do something useful and worked at Go Outdoors.

The Training Has Started!!
As you all may have guessed Snowdon is not an easy effort. Snowdon stands at a height of 1,085m.
Lets put this into context:
Burj Khalifa (worlds tallest building) 828m
The Queen Mary 2 is 345m Long
Ben Nevis (highest mountain in the UK) 1344m
So as you can see its a big effort finally here is a picture of Jake training for Snowdon on the Old Man of Coniston at 803m

WE NEED HELPERS
Good Evening Everyone,
So as we are walking up the highest mountain in Wales we need help.
We will, of course, be taking charity buckets up the mountain for people to donate coins. For anyone who has ever been involved in bag packing at a supermarket will know these become very very heavy. So we will be needing people to follow us up on the train.
We have 2 helpers possibly 3 but we need more.
If you are able to help please contact us at stuswalk@gmail.com
